As you can probably tell i am totally obsessed with Alice in Wonderland and anything to do with it.
My title image was taken from a photo shoot that was in Vogue in 2003, it was based around Alice's story. Annie Leibovitz is an amazing photographer, I love the way she's managed to capture the playfulness and childishness of the story. Instead of the shoot feeling like it is full of high price tags and being a world of high fashion, Leibovitz has created Alice to be a sweet little girl running around in gorgeous dresses. Clearly capturing the whimsical and wonderful world of Alice's wonderland.

“My name is Alice, so please Your Majesty,” the young girl, draped in Dior Couture, said softly. “ You make me giddy!” screamed the Queen.

I am completely in love with this dress and everything about the photograph, the flamingoes, the clothes and John Galliano's face. This photo is perfection!!

Tweedledum and Tweedledee
“If you think we're alive, you ought to speak,” said the one marked DEE.
This dress is from Victor and Rolf, as it is clearly them in the role of Tweedledee and Tweedledum. This particular dress is actually really relevant to our sculpture brief that we were given yesterday, as I am intending on creating a garment that is really structural hopefully mixing romanticism with strong harsh lines.

I love how the designers are involved in the shoot its as if they are showcasing their amazing dresses.

I am so unbelievably in love with everything about this shoot - and would love to do one myself inspired by these photos.
